Filming in and around Kerry School of Music for a short promotional film.
Once again we were blessed with great weather which really highlighted how attractive this course is. Starring roles went to my father-in-law and his friend and work colleague. (My father-in-law is now pursuing a lucrative Hollywood deal!)
The weather was kind to us this day and we had a perfect blue sky over Tralee. Ideal for lazing away a Sunday afternoon (if you’re not filming of course).
Many thanks to Monica and Adam at Chopin’s for their input into this video
Last year I was asked to put together a film of Kingdom Boys soccer club here in Tralee. The movie shows training and a number of different events throughout the year including a trip to see Ireland v Australia in Limerick.
It was filmed with a consumer camcorder (Canon MD205) in standard definition. Many thanks to Brian and all at Kingdom Boys Academy.

Photofest is Ireland’s biggest photographic show and so I was delighted to be invited to film a series of seminars by the award winning photographer Uzair Kharawala of SF Digital and SF Photo School. I put together this short overview of the trade show and Uzair’s seminars.
The show is well worth a visit for anybody with any interest in photography and offers many free seminars. Check out Photo Fest next year.
Volcanic ash had a limited effect on the the attendance, yet did, I believe, account for my hotel room upgrade! So not all bad news.
